Went there for a axe smithing course, and I got to say that it was loads of fun, and really educational, learning from Ian Thackrey, he is a really humble and patience instructor, and I can tell that he is passionate about his craft!

Booked two consecutive days for a learning experience. Ian is very knowledgeable and welcoming. Had a great time.

Went as a bday present for my partner for the Beginners Knife Making - amazing value for money, would definitely recommend! Ian is a great teacher, friendly, patient and super helpful. Ian is very professional, and clearly knows what he’s talking about! Was great learning about Blacksmithing. We had a such a fun day and we loved meeting his dog Seb (best welcome assistant!). We’ll definitely be looking into more courses and recommending to our friends/family. Came all the way from London and it was definitely worth the weekend trip down :)

Participated in a blacksmith workshop and had a blast! Learning the craft was a hands-on delight, and the instructor's guidance made it both educational and enjoyable. Had a fantastic day making an axe. Ian is a great teacher and explained everything well. The work shop has well equipped. The experience was excellent value for money particularly as I had 1 to 1 teaching. I hope to return and learn more in the future.
